Wine Review by TweSommelier - 2008 Mas Mudigliza Côtes du Roussillon Carminé

I've opened a 2008 Mas Mudigliza Côtes du Roussillon Carminé. This wine is dark ink red with rich aromas of jammy plums, blackberries and freshly crushed peppercorn. On the palate the wine is full-bodied with lush blackberries, mulberries, vanilla bean and spice. The wine has great balance, soft tannins and a long lasting fruit and pepper filled finish. Very delicious on all fronts. The wine is a beautiful blend of Grenache noir, Carignan and Syrah. It's a terrific must try wine.
